Default Factory radio that will fit 03

My 03 Ranger is a 2wd XL supercab. The radio in it now is the 6 disc changer. It won't play or even load any CDs.

I'd like to replace it. I've read that replacing your factory radio w aftermarket requires cutting and modifying, and a factory radio won't fit once an aftermarket radio is fitted.

So hopefully I can pick up a Ford factory radio for fairly cheap since I doubt there will be much need for a radio that won't fit any more.

Preference is a radio that has an aux input. All my music is on my phone or USB disc. I don't use physical media anymore. (Woo the future is now!)
Bluetooth would be amazing but I'm not holding my breath.

Or CD if the price is right. Would really like aux input though.

Thank you all.

The radio I have had in all 3 of my Rangers has gone in without cutting any factory wires, because I have an adaptor for it...

I believe I got mine at ABC Warehouse but other places should also sell it, it plugs in how the factory radio plugs in and has wires on the other end to splice into. Cheap and easy to use without messing up the trucks wiring.

the factory 6 cd usually jumps track on the elevator system. take it apart and reset it all. usually works fine after that. Ive had to do it to mine about a doz times now. last time was when the battery went dead

I am selling a factory radio. It didn't have a aux on it but there is a way to install one yourself.

Here's what I did to add AUX input for my '97: https://imgur.com/a/xWGY6

Your '03 is even easier cuz it already uses the same red "world" plugs as 2007 and newer Rangers. So if you buy a used 2008 Ranger radio (eg, Ebay), it already supports MP3 and AUX-input. No need to cut any wires. All you'll need is to supply is this simple plug (DIY or buy): https://i.imgur.com/oStzhVp.jpg
and mount its 3.5 mm AUX input jack somewhere on your dashboard.
