Up for sale is a 1999 Ford ranger with a Cummins turbo diesel 4bt 3.9 L. This is a one of a kind truck that turns heads like no other. The 4 cylinder diesel is mated to a freshly rebuilt 5 speed manual transmission ( NV4500) with the granny low 1st gear. Everything in the truck works as if its 100% stock. The motor has all of the front accessories off a p-pump 12v cummins. ( alternator with external voltage regulator, a/c, vacuum / power steering pump.) A/C blows ice cold. Before I installed the engine I had all of the external seals changed and the motor checked inside and out. There are no oil drips of any kind and I also had the injection pump rebuilt. I also upgraded the rear axle to a Ford explorer 8.8 with disk brakes and limited slip with a 3.08 gear ratio. This truck will very easily cruise at 80 miles an hour getting an average of 40+ MPG!! I had the cab lined with sound deadening material to cut back on noise from the engine. Also upgraded the turbo to an HY-35 with 9mm exhaust housing and a 60mm compressor wheel. It have a 6" stack in the bed. Besides that the truck looks and drives as if it were made with the turbo diesel installed from the factory. All the brackets, motor mounts, and hardware were all professionally made to look factory. Come test drive the ranger and youll be shocked on what this little truck is capable of!!!! You will not be disappointed!
40 MPG cruising at 80 mph!

Nice truck and 40mpg is easy
Very nice truck I would remove the cummins decal and the stack in the bed. I would want it to look like a stock 2.3 ranger. Then blow black smoke out when I get on it from a light. Also it is cummins not cummings
