In the future, I wanted to sas my ranger. But is this really what it would be worth? Not that I would resale mine if I did go through with it but dang that's cheap. If I had 2500$ extra to spend, I'd buy it and fix it up.

Truck is probably a basket case like half of the SAS swap trucks in the world. He's probably selling it cheap because he doesn't want to mess with bleeding the hydraulic system since it kinda sucks.

Any time there is custom work done and they don't take up close shots of the suspension, it is junk. If a guy did it right then that would be what he took pics of cause that is the selling point.

Yeah. I called and asked how much it costed him to do the swap and he said they only charged 1,000$ To put the new axle on.

Yeah. Well that doesn't ALWAYS have to be a bad thing. I mean, in this guys case it is. But with proper tools, knowledge, patience, and a nice place to work on it, I'm sure you can get it done right. But those are like guys on pirate 4x4. ---------- In other news, some guy is trying to trade this Isuzu amigo with me.. I think I'll pass.

Just my personal opinion, but anybody doing an SAS swap in their backyard instead of a garage or similar probably doesn't have the right tools to properly set it up.

Well my dad has a 3500 sq tf pole barn enclosed and insulated. It's really nice. But if I did my sas I wouldn't do it at home for Id rather pay a professional to do it. But I do agree with you.
