STL did you get different side marker lens's? In the before pic you had amber lens's. In the after pic you had smoke gray ones. Isn't the lens its self amber?

Ya those are the stock ones. I bought a set of clear corners off ebay and did them as well.

Steps for the corners are exactly the same. You just dont have to mask anything off.

This is actually alot easier than it seems! once you get over the fact your baking your headlights it easy! Just take your time on the clear corners, they took longer on mine, im guessing because its brand new glue! or you can even buy stealth ones off ebay that are already blacked on the inside.

Very good point. Clear corners from ebay are a tad harder to do. Need to bake them long and possibly a higher temp just a few degrees, and be careful.

I did this headlight mod on my 2009 Ranger,
the masking and painting was the easy part
taking the suckers apart was a bitch. I bought two headlights just in case I screwed up. I didn't do a bad job but now that I'm an expert at this I just might do my orginal lights.
I just have to wait for the wife to leave so I can use the oven

LOL. I know what you mean. My wife came in, saw what I had in the oven, and was "WTF?"
She's still a little PO'd about it.

The glue I had on the aftermarkets never did melt. I baked them at 200 for 45 minutes, and still had a heck of a time getting them apart. Finally did though. The main thing is to just keep heating them and they'll get there.

One thing I found when doing mine - if the edge of the paint gets a little jagged when you remove the tape, you can touch up small areas with a sharpie. I had a couple of areas on mine that did that and the sharpie made it look much better.

I have never seen anyone take them apart for that year. I know the ones you are talking about.
