Mine are getting completely redone in black vinyl with red stitching. Added more foam too and they wrap around sides a little more then factory. Also I kept the power lumbar on the driver side.

Damn sounds bad ass! Id like to paint parts of my interior red to go with the color of my truck and the theme I want to do. Just don't know what interior parts to paint. Definitely wanna paint the vents red. Bezel? Interior door handle plastic
Might get red vinyl for the center console arm rest, possibly paint the whole console black (besides arm rest padding).

My interior is grey. I'm keeping it all grey and black inside. My explorer arm rest got redone in the same material as my seats are getting done in, and later I'm gonna go get my arm rests on the door panels redone in same material also. I got the seats for $20. Both power leather seats. Driver was torn up. Got the full console and an explorer bezel with fog and defrost $25. To redo my seats including all materials $438. I got the explorer bezel cause I wanna use the push button for the rear window cleaner for train horns as the other 2 buttons for fogs and rear lights. I gotta get all the rubbery stuff off the console and bezel. I can't stand that stuff

Wow, your tempting me to do more things for my truck Lol. I need to save money for the 5.0 swap though.
I love the look of leather, but I don't know if I could stand the heat they absorb in the summer.

Mine isn't leather. It's vinyl. Cheap leather lol. Less maintenance. Real leather was over $1000. I was like uh no don't need it. If your gonna do vinyl seats get perforated middle section. It will allow the seat to breathe and you won't sweat in them. I didn't want that cause I ride with ac 95% of the time. And I'm saving for a 5.0 too. I wanna keep the auto tranny though. Gotta find an exploder for the swap.

Hmm, might have to look into them seats. Ive seen black with red stitching replacement fabrics online somewhere. I've been looking everyday for a good explorer to save for. Too many damn 4.0s out there. Lol. Otherwise they have too many miles or the body is crap, which usually means they probably didnt take too good of care of the engine, tranny, etc. maintenance either

Yeah. A lot of them around here are the 2 door sport. High miles doesn't bother me. Dads a ase master tech and we can pull the motor apart and rebuild it. And for the explorer I'm looking for one that is rearended or something. Or fine that someone just wants to sell. I plan on getting another ranger. Hopefully 95-97 reg cab short bed 2.3 5 speed. And would like the do the explorer front clip swap. So I could save the front clip and sell the seats, console and other stuff and whatever is left scrap.

that was my plan, sell as much stuff as I can, scrap the rest. I will probably end up financing one from my buddies deaf, he owns a car dealership. Actually has a 5.0 explorer down there now that I think about it... Another problem for me though would be finding time to do the swap, I'd have to wait til summer more than likely since school

Okay I'm looking to put my full length console in today. I got my buckets finally done and in. I read a few places that the bottom of the console needs to be trimmed? The full length console will be going in my 1997 Mazda b2300 single cab.

Some people do, some people don't. I didn't have to on mine but then again I don't have factory carpet in mine. Don't know if that makes a difference

I didnt trim mine when I had it in. It kinda sat with a cap in it in the front cupholer part but it didn't bother me too bad. But if I would have trimmed it it would have set right

It did in my 96 single cab. Did you trim the back under the back cup holder? That bottom vent piece needs to go. I just remembered that

That's the problem. Gotta do that now. I have the big bracket mounted to the console. I can bolt it into the dash and then use some self tappers to mount it to the floor right?
