Doing this mod this weekend. Got the old seats out, got the new passenger explorer bucket seat in, got the center console in, gotta wire up the console and stuff, then put in the driver side seat and wire that up, woohoo a driver side powered seat..

Will post pics later tonight, hopefully i will get it done...started yesterday, lot of work.

Ok guys... spent alot of time this weekend, I put in my Explorer Bucket Seats, Passenger one isn't powered, but the Driver side one is! Its so sweet and cool.
Also put in the full Explorer Center Console.... it was a pain, but really worth it!

Sorry the last few pics were kinda bad.. dont know why.

Also for some reason now my Air Bag indicator light on my cluster is blinking... i think the bulb on the switch to turn the passenger bag off is burnt out...

So i have a question, where the hell did you get that rubber mat that covers the WHOLE floor, is that a 4x4 thing? I need that for my xlt..

Its probably how his truck came, basic trucks came with a rubber mat instead of carpet.

My 2011 4x4 sport model came with rubber floor mat...I much prefer it over the carpet

Anyone know how the center console mounting bracket is mounted in a 97, I believe, explorer? Is it welded, bolt, riveted etc.?

iirc I didn't lol, I just drilled holes in the metal part of the console " insides and bolted it down, it's solid, doesn't move didn't see a problem with it so I left it, just to be sure do you have a picture of the part your referring to
