Very cool! It looks good. I like the blue. That is a good looking truck from the picture.

Just did this mod, but I used the newer Expo Sport/Sport Trac console. Kicker is, I have a 5-speed. And let's just say it doesn't work as well as the older style. I had to pretty much take out the whole left side of the front cubby just to get clearance for my shifter.

Overall I like the look, but I'm gonna have to play Humpty Dumpty with the front cubby to make things look right.

Doesn't loo to bad, I sure you will figure out something for it. I like it. You gonna recover the lid?

In the end, I think I'm just gonna go with the older style cubby and cupholder. It's just gonna be too much work to make the Sport Trac cubby look right. Luckily the actual console is the same, so I don't have to do that over. lol.

I am gonna recover the lid. Probably go with black vinyl. And the front cubbies will be sprayed silver to match the radio bezel and make it look like the Sport Trac console would have.

Yeah I don't blame you. Would be a lot easier. And you will always have that piece if you think of some way to make it look legit. That's good. Lol. Those full consoles are a pain in the ass sometimes to get how you want it.

That's what I had done to mine. Worked out pretty well. That will be cool! I'll have to see that when it's done.

This may have already been answered, but with the exp center console do you have to have the exp seats?

No, you can mod your seats to work if you have split bench.
