Probably not a result of this mod at all...

Remove the zip ties, drive it, if it goes away it was because of the mod...

If it doesn't go away, you have a different issue.

Be careful not to cut your throttle cable... I recommend cutting the "locking" part of the zip tie, and not the strap itself.

Very nice pictures. Makes it easy for people who have no vehicle experience.

I just removed them and the truck runs and drives fine now, without the zip ties I have almost 1 1/2 inches of excess cable, I don't think the zip ties would work, I would need almost 8 zip ties. Is there a way to adjust from the engine?

just did it on my truck about 10 mins about it took longer to test drive it then to actually do it, mine took 3 and it does have better throttle response, an shifts a lil better, however i would recomend a pop can underneath the arm of the petal to keep it up so you can use both hands on the subject at matter, damn good information right here

It is a great mod. The only negative is that it raises the gas pedal and brings it closer to the height of the brake pedal. This causes me to sometimes hit them both when braking and wearing certain boots. I originally had 2 zip ties on it and switched to 1 after having this problem.

my zip ties keep snaping as i get it to the proper tightness is it supposed to be as tight as the cable itself because if so i need some better zip ties
