it's crazy how this is so simple yet not thought of! I fit 3 large zip ties and could of put one more but it was a pain. This mod worked wonders!!

Just went to do this to mine and discovered it was already done! Haha. It only had one zip tie but I was able to get another one on there.

Well I just got done doing the throttle cable mod. We will see tomorrow morning when I leave for work if it did anything.

I gotta say, it was a real bastard getting under there. I'm too tall and my arms are too long haha

I did the throttle cable mod the other day, it needed about 2.5 zip ties, I only put 2. But before it would struggle to get a kickdown, now it doesnt think twice :P

So I drove my truck to work today after doing the throttle cable mod last night.

From a complete stop, the acceleration is night and day. It's amazing how such a simple mod can make such a big difference.

I know a stretched throttle cable will stop you from getting a wide open throttle but what would that actually mean for your truck? Will you get less MPG, would you have less power, etc.?

Truth.

The mod doesn't effect gas mileage. It just makes the throttle open easier by not pushing as hard on the gas....
