How would a white caliper paint hold up

2001 Ranger XLT 3.0L v6 stock trans 3.73 264,000 and counting on original eng/trans/rear. MODS so far: Specter Washable airfilter, Throttle cable mod.
Coming soon: 4 wheel disc brakes, expo gauges, new 3.0 with new exaust.

I would guess it would hold up as well as any other color. Just a guess though. Any color is gonna get filthy and need regular cleaning to stay nice.

Thats what i thought. I was worried about heat discoloration too. Thats mainly why i posted.

I've got a question, are those lift blocks under the leafs factory installed or were those aftermarket? I have the same exact style on my Ranger 4x4 but I wasn't sure if they were installed by the factory or not. I was thinking about taking them off but if they are factory installed I will probably just keep them on and get a front leveling kit or something. I don't really like how my ass end sticks up due to the lift in the back.

I think that's why your pedal feels squishy. Front disk/rear drum brakes come with a combination valve that incorporates a metering and proportioning valve into one. Metering valves are used only in drum brake vehicles because the shoes have to travel farther to reach the drum than the pads to the disk. So the metering valve waits till the drum shoes grab before it allows the pads to grab the disk. Since you don't have drum shoes anymore, that might be the cause.

So you think a proportioning valve would fix that?? If I got one where would I need to put it?? What if I put an explorer master cylinder? I know some explorers come with disk brakes all around so maybe it would be better set up for my truck?
