Re: How to: Rear disc brake conversion for stock Ranger rear end
I don't think so, because I believe the bolt pattern is the same. But just to make sure, measure the hub diameter and make sure that matches; if it does, you're good to go.

Re: How to: Rear disc brake conversion for stock Ranger rear end
I do have one question...what vehicles have the 9" or 10" rotors? I'm thinking that in order to keep my 14" stock rims, I'll have to find a smaller rotor, to make sure that they clear.
I also ask this because I notice that on fordracing.com (where I found a complete kit), they advertise 11.65" rotors.

Re: How to: Rear disc brake conversion for stock Ranger rear end
By the way, I just found a site that you could use if you run into problems with the rotors.
Here it is: http://www.tsmmfg.com/2100C.htm
From what I've seen, this conversion kit will fit the 7.5/8.8" 28-spline axles. Pricing, however, isn't cheap by any means.

The Mustang GT rotors are smaller than the Cobra rotors. They might fit in a 14" rim.

Re: How to: Rear disc brake conversion for stock Ranger rear end
Anyone know where I can get started for finding the GT/v6 brake parts? The closer junkyards don't have any Mustangs at all. Anyone know of any good websites? I'm having a really hard time
