or would anyone know of an easier step by step how to for the 2.3l 2005 ford ranger.
Also if I decide to go with the regular v6/gts and not the cobras....what brake lines do I get?

Brake lines should be the same.

Re: How to: Rear disc brake conversion for stock Ranger rear end
Does anybody have a link to a guide for rebuilding the calipers? One of mine arrived in less-than-ideal condition, but all of the internals and the piston are in pretty good shape. It's plenty salvageable for a simple rebuild, but I'm having a really hard time taking the #$!%ing thing apart.

Does anyone have an extra set of caliper mounts by any chance? I need a set for my swap.

Re: How to: Rear disc brake conversion for stock Ranger rear end
I've heard all right things about Powerstop. Just be sure you get nice brake pads and smooth rotors. None of that slotted/drilled crap. Unless you're drag-racing regularly, they're a waste of money. Nice, basic rotors are all you need.
