That too. Preloaded is the cheapest / easiest way IMO

I am glad you mentioned it...I have come across sellers that describe the calipers as loaded, semi loaded or unloaded. What is the difference?

There are a few people that have done cobra brakes on the front of their 2wds. It just takes a custom bracket and hub. With the 12 in brakes on the 03 and newer truck the fronts don't need much help as ranger patio a are larger than the mustangs. Gt brakes may be a downgrade in power

What is the copper method you guys are talking about for the parking brake? I'm gonna be doing this mod soon. Probly gonna order steel braided lines tomorrow.

from what i understand the ranger ebrake cable fits into these calipers but needs to have a spacer to take up some of the slack in the line. a piece of copper pipe should do it.

heres how my day went; few hours of hot as hell work. made away with 2 mustang calipers, flange brackets, and anti-moan brackets. one of the calipers seems frozen but ill know more when i get them on a bench. anybody know where i can get a caliper rebuild kit of some sort?

Best I can get right now.

Pipe basically takes up the space that the cable would be traveling thru the backing plate.
