It took about 2 weeks for me to fully complete due to a lack of parts. Waiting on parts to be shipped really holds things up.
It should be OK Im thinking because the diameter of the tube does not change nor does the axle shaft diameter at the flange, on a 28 spline i believe it steps down at the carrier bearings..I will see if I can verify

I am wrong the 31 spline has a bigger bolt pattern on the axle flange and a larger diameter tube also........
Well I got back from the salvage yard yesterday, I now have all the parts new and used to get er DUN! Ill start in a few days after I get the rest of the lowering parts
