You could just get an 08 up 31spline 8.8 what has rear discs

For this bracket..

Is there one that will specifically work for 7.5 axles and a different one for 8.8 differentials? I found a pair but the guy said its for the 8.8 differential, is there a difference? The part number is the same exact one as the brackets the OP posted. Thanks!

Nevermind I saw that these were from a cobra and I doubt everything from a cobra would fit in a 15" rim haha

Will the GT/V6 10.5 inch rotors have good clearance with 14inch rims?

Sorry for the repeat question. I found the answer in page 17.

Just wondering, no modification or replacement of master cylinder? And no problems with rear ABS?

From what I've read you will be fine with the master cylinder, and your abs will be fine. Some people recommend using a proportioning valve though. But some run it without one and they like it.

So I went to the junkyard today to pick up most of the things I need. I got the Calipers, caliper bracket, backing plate, dust shield, and the anti moan things. All for $45! yay for 50% off days! I'm gonna get the rotors and brake pads soon. And I have to get some new brake lines and I'll do the install. I'm not sure when that will be since I'm working 6 days a week!

I forgot to say that I spent right around $200 give or take for all parts and took one night to install. For anyone considering doing this swap it was overall easy and simply just a bolt on. Also I would like to add I did the conversion without removing the axles and had no problem doing it that way at all.

Did I just see teflon tape on a fitting? That's a big no no. It needs to be one of them 45 degrees fittings. One fitting compresses onto the other fitting. I sure hope that's what you used. regular pipe fitting will leak under that high pressure.

NO that is not a regular pipe fitting. It is a inverted flare fitting. They have not leaked at all yet and brakes are working just fine.
