yes, but this write up won't work for you, you have a Gel type emblem so if you heat it you'll pull the entire emblem apart

im having trouble getting the emblem apart. its not a gel emblem i dont think. it came of a 95 ranger.

well this was a epic fail 4 me on my 94 ranger had a horrible time getting it apart n when i did the chrome kinda just came off 2....this wouldnt have been a problem if it would of all came out but that would b 2 easy so i painted it n didnt like it so hopefully i can get every spec out with a pressure washer.....and i was thinkin bout red letters n usin my girls crackle nail polish on it if they make solid colors im thinkin that will b pretty nasty lookin.....and im gonna attempt the like .5 x 1 inch emblem on my steering wheel....but hell of a idea who ever thought of this nice little addition

As long as you can stick something between the chrome base and the actual oval, it'll work.

my emblem turn out to be gel, but i have see through black paint , if i were to paint the badge (surface) do i sand it before?
