I am going to do this asap... I wish I hadn't bought the wrong afe intake for my truck... I bought the one for an 03 by accident on ebay and now im stuck with it

oh do it..i did notice something that changed aha..but in higher rpms it does sound nice

I did this mod today. I did notice a sound difference, especially on the highway. and while going up hills, I did'nt notice near the strain on the motor as I used to. This mod honestly does work, for free to boot.

no it wont devalue the truck you can easily just snap the pieces back together. def. worth a try

I saw this before, but i'll try it this week, as soon as the weather allows.

I can't see how more air to the engine could not modify performances, i'll gladly take even 5hp if it means cooler sound (not to be confused with f&f sound) and also..FREE!

almost never believe what the dealership tells you...the mod is simple and easy to reverse..i did mine today cause im tryin to get better gas milage...i made a aluminum shroud to go on the side of the box to block the engine heat from the box...if you wana do it...just do it...i had a body lift on my truck n the dealership didnt void my warranty so i dont think theyll care about a 5 inch tube

yea i did it awhile ago..didnt notice ne mpg gain and it makes the engine sound better because of how the air goes into the box..but made the hole a little bigger and it was free so its awesome lol
