It might have just been me, but once the PB Blaster got to the grommets the box pulled straight out.

I was more curious of what it would do than seeing any performance gains. There's not much you can do with a 3.0 friend.

Just did this today, and while no performance gains, I do like the noise increase on my 2.3. Probably nothing to make anyone other than me notice, but it is nice. And free, which counts for a lot.

Did this on my 2.3 a couple weeks ago and I love it. Also added a k and n drop in air filter. Sound good and feels a little quicker. But who knows. Mpg seems bad because I like the sound so I stomp it more. But still calculating.

It's hard not to stomp on it.

That is the truth right there. Especially when you don't have a choice to cause you have your air on and its seems like its barely moving so you gotta stomp it

Just did this mod and I found out that it does nothing to spray lube into the air box as it is sealed. With my 2011 it is hard to tell if there is performance gains but as said before- it is free and more air can't hurt.

Wtf...?
No..it makes the intake hole bigger....making hydrolocking easier..if youre driving through water.

If you want to avoid hydrolocking..stay out of water. Its a Ranger truck, not a Ranger boat

This. Does this mod actually help or just produce more noise?
