A spindle lift isn't THAT bad on 31s. I LOVE how my truck looks and idk if I to go bigger and regear cause its sexy to me. But everyone has their own opinion. The guy who started this thread was rockin 31s and it looked good to me.
and if you have ever done a break job you can most likely do this. Its so freakin simple.

Fabtech stops removed this am and took for a quick test. Was able to do a uturn in a spot I've never been able to do it in. So far so good. Not pinching brake lines at all so didn't remove clamp that holds lines. Will monitor and test more but happy so far. No binding or hitting of anything.

Just to recap if questions. I have a 2007 XLT with fabtech 3" spindle lift, torsion bars, running procomp 31's and have no stock steering stop and now no fabtech steering stops. No stops whatsoever.

I have the fabtech stop on and I lost a little steering turning. I might just take it off..

anyone have any tips on how to get the abs sensor out for the stock spindle without beating the hell out of it?

No, If it isnt coming out, your gonna need to get new ones. I had to replace mine after doing the spindles. I think there only 40 per side from rock auto.

Those are the same spindles I just got from WheelsNParts. I know this thread is kinda old, but I'm having trouble with the set I just got. Does anyone know if the EDGE spindles are different from the coil spring lift spindles other that the whole at the top being a larger diameter?(Thinking maybe they sent me spindles for the torsion bar set-up)
I'm totally new to lifting a 2WD, so forgive me if I sound like a noob. I had no idea I would have to cut out some material from the LCA and the spindle. I think that's pretty crazy and the company I bought them from should tell the customers that modifications will need to be done to install their spindles.

I just ordered some Doetsch spindles and they look different. My snouts are pressed in while these ones look bolted on? Are mine a new design?

You want them pressed in. The bolts r easier to break. I love my spindles and do some serious offloading and never a problem where as some people have snapped their bolted in snouts. Just did mine 2 months ago. If u have any questions just ask.

Did you just use a traditional ball joint separator fork? What would you recommend replacing besides ball joints? Both upper and lower? Should I just repack wheel bearings or replace them?

I replaced uppers lowers and bearings. Lol. Also brakes an rotors. Might as well if they r off. Lol. And no splitter. Pure mallet. Lol. And it's easier than u think when removing lower on old one tap the ballpoint itself will fall right off.
