lol.
For some reason when i replaced my ABS sensors that were seized in my old spindles,
Now every now and then on a sharp turn they activate, doesnt really bother me though.

seems like everyone is having the problem of the abs sensors seizing in the old spinles and not being able to take them out. thats weird tho, i havent had any issues like that

You only needed the Ball Joint Seperator Because you changed your lower ones correct? Other wise you and can slap the new spindles in with the old ball joints..?

I suggest unless your truck is brand new, change them out, and i didnt use a ball joint seperator, just a screwdriver

I only have 69k and bought it at 50k So I don't think I'm going to..
I don't do much driving anyways so I think I'll be okay.

Hi guys.

I have the fabtech 3" lift as well and hate the lack of turn radius. Where are "bannanas" pictures on his grinding? I must be looking in the wrong spot. I've grinded some but want more turn radius and wanted to compare what he did with what I did. I just grinded the stops down a bit which didn't help much at all.

Please let me know. So sick of doing 8 point turns.

yea if you have wonderful the fabtech, suck it pat!! you have to cut them steering stops off! on the edge models they take out your break at full lock. scary the first time lol but i grinded mine off and haven't had a problem with turning or anything after that. plus without those stops my turn radius is better then it was stock.

Yeah, the stock "marble" stops are off brother brodozer, but my question, did you use the huge fabtech stops that come with the lift kit at all or are you riding with no stops ( no stock stops, no fabtech stops ) ? I'm debating on taking mine off. It not only hit's the caliper bolt, which I believe is what is supposed to happen, but groves out a bit on the inside of the lca. I just want to turn, no more, no less.

Hell yeah bro, that's what i'm talking about. I guess worst case, if the brake pump occurs and I dont like, I can toss them back on. I was just weary is all, and not wanting to total my truck

Guess I could take them off & drive around cutting hard & see whats what. Have your brakes gone out on you or did you just get used to it, or, did you just get some longer brake lines ?

my brakes only went out with the bump stops at full lock. i would have no break pressure what so ever. i had to pump the brakes to get it back. so removing the stops fixed everything. and i thought i was pinching my brake lines so i dropped the bracket on the brake lines so i would get about a inch or more of line. wasn't necessary though.

Good news all...

I've never really had the brakes go out at full lock, but then again, I never crank that hard either. The calper bolt would hit but only for a second so perhaps I didn't notice.

I'm really going to try this I think. I need about another 1/2 a turn for full comfort turning. these 8 point turns tend to piss me off at times.

And if I don't like it, bolt them back on right...

Brother Bro.. much appreciate. finding clear cut answers on this have been few & far between to say the least...
