Pat, you didnt have to grind anything to restore your turning radius like your supposed to do with the fabtech ones, did you? Also , how long it take?

what part do you have to grind? cause if i remember right its the brake stop. without that brake stop at least from what i heard at full lock you lose your brakes.. not sure if thats true but ill look around and find the missing link cause you have to grind part of the lower A arm too i think.

well when i turn it only goes so far but my steering wheel can go farther which makes the power steering pump scream so im thinkin the tie rod end is trying to push it but just cant cus the brake is hitting and stopping me from turning more. my friend has the Doetsch spindles and hes gunna tell me what i need to cut and ill let everyone know. ill try to get to it tomorrow if i have time or will just be this weekend. i havent noticed anything with my brakes tho except my brake line seems to be a tad tighter than i thought it would be but braking seems to be fine its just the turning stops me

I have the 6" Doetsch suspension lift and I did the lower control arm grinding. Went to Wal-Mart and bought a cheap grinder and some metal discs and took me about 10 minutes per side. Also added some small notches in the control arm to improve the turning radius. Nothing major but being able to pull a u-turn in my truck is so damn nice.

Should take about an hour per side to complete the swap?
