This is a quick and easy mod that makes any diff cover look great! I do not take credit for this, many have done this mod, i just wanted to tell everyone how to do it.

Tools Needed:

-Spray Paint (your choice of color)
-Degreaser
-Sand Paper
-Rag
-Duck Tape
-News Paper

(sorry, did not take during pics, its very easy, anyone can do it)

Step One:

Scrape down the diff cover with the sand paper and remove any lose peeling metal parts.

Step Two:

Degrease the cover with the degreaser and whip down with rag.

Step Three:

Masket off the axle and any wires to prevent paint on them. Cover anything around it with the news paper and tape it off.

Step Four:

Spray paint the diff cover. do mulitiple coats to prevent future chipping. I did 2 of yellow and 1 of clear.

Finished Product:




(as you noticed i didnt do a good job on the masking off but a little paint wont hurt anything )

looks good, seems like this is the cool thing to do now lol. yours matches the shocks as well as the truck

Another way to go is to time it w/ a rear end fluid change, and paint the cover while its off the axle to have zero chance of overspray.
