Don't take it the wrong way, I wasn't suggesting that doing it that way is wrong, it's just not my preference. I have some, i just prefer not to use them. How is it easier to reverse? i thought once you use it and push down the little metal piece, it was on for good. Even if it doesn't sever the wire, I didn't know you could pull the little metal tab back up. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Personally in this case, I prefer the strip/twist/tape method. Some may argue it's not the best
way, but I've done it that way on another vehicle (and now my Ranger, too) and I've never had a single problem. The black wire going to the marker has to be cut, no way around that, but the way I did it, the striped wire going to the signal just has a little sheathing stripped back, which would require only a little piece of tape to return it to stock.
Again, not saying there's anything wrong with using the taps. That works fine, too. I'm not trying to step on any toes...
