ya i drilled a small hole to get the self tapping screw started.

ok so i got an ohc out of an explorer sport trac, i got it in but it doesnt fit flush at the back end, not sure if i mounted it wrong or what. any suggestions?

What year is your truck?
Did you get the sunroof model or the garage door model?

I got it all wired up and everything is working but when I go to turn the lamps on thet don't come on. I know its not the bulbs cause when I open the door they come on. Need help!

you prolly got the wires switched. There is a 12v constant to supply the switched light and the door 12v.

well what i got from the posting of how to hook it up was only to use that one wire from the dome light but appearently i need to use both of them?

be sure you get it close enough to the front by the windsheild , press the console up there and see how it will look before any cutting or marking, you might try using a small piece of chalk to outline it then just brush it off if a mistake and redo
