So I was wondering if someone could help me out? Got my ohc today, but my dome light sockets are missing, im totally confused as to where they are going to wire in at? Any help would be appreciated.

I am new to this site, I have read, read, and re-read this particular section, and i can say that i have cussed a lot as well. however it is finally done and i would like to thank all of you that have posted on this upgrade, and for all of those that read to the 22nd page, it is not that hard. IT IS TIME CONSUMING! anyone with patience can do this take your time and continue to spend time on this forum, on to the next, power locks and windows

How hard is it to take these out to change to the leds that buggman has? I want to put mine in then later on put the leds in.

Are you talking about the whole piece that holds the bulbs? If so I have one that I took out of my ohc that you could have.

I cut my headliner out and the metal behind it looks a whole lot different than the one posted....Im still working on it and hopefully ill have it in and working this week. Has anyone else had this happen?

its not hard to put leds in your ohc its easiest if you havent put it in yet. he provides full instructions on how to do it.

Yeah man, I did. My 2010 doesn't have that whole 2nd layer that the earlier models do. My second layer only comes about 6 inches from the windshield up ... I had to be very careful with my drills

Everytime I hit a bump now the screen goes out but then comes back. Could that be a loose ground? It was working perfect...

My Expedition OHC would go out, then I could press the mode button really hard, and it would stay on for a few days, then go out again. Or I could give it a good smack and it would come back on, then off again in a few days.
See if either of those work. It may be the ground, or in my case, bad contacts on the resistors/missing resistors.
I could walk you though a resistor fix, if that's the problem.
