I have seen that before. I am looking to protect/restor the bed liner I already have.

I've run into some spare cash and have been wanting to line my rocker panels. I'm just curious, how do you think it's turn out if I first put two layers of roll on liner, let it dry, then did a layer or two of the spray on?? (after sanding and what not, of course.) I just personally like the finished look of the spray on better but to me, the roll on seems more thorough.
Thoughts?

If you are going to finish with spray-on then don't even bother with the roll-on first. It sounds like a waste of time and money to do it that way.

Proper sanding is KEY!. I did't and it peels off, but the duplicolor set from canadian tire is great, just use your own sand paper!

Ok I got a question for you guys. I just herculined my bed, it looks pretty good, but I still have about 1/4 can left over. I am wondering if I should coat the bed one more time (a 3rd coat) or just leave it alone. It looks great and I dont want it to be too thick and gunky...I am just worried that maybe I didn't use enough of it. Also anyone know the shelf life of this stuff after opening? I would like to coat some other stuff with the rest if possible in 6 mo-1 year.
Thanks! and great write up
