Isn't a leveling kit just keys and shock spacers? I wouldn't need shock spacers if I had longer shocks and everyone says keys are pointless unless you want to go beyond factory specs which I don't. I only want 2" max of lift in the front. I would think better shocks with more travel would do more good than spacers with my stock shocks. My truck is not an fx4 so I don't have the bilsteins currently. If I'm missing something please let me know, I definitely want what's best for my truck and a superlift is not in my budget right now.

Will do. If i get impatient i might just go ahead and try it with the stock shocks.

I'm still hoping someone can tell me if the 5100s will give me more travel on my 4x4 though. Anybody???

Yea the keys are pointless and I'm not sure shock spacers are included. Your right about everything though

No.

Your shocks are really just a secondary item limiting your travel - The CV's are the primary. Hell, the stock shocks are a 'protection' of sorts against overextending/destroying the CV's.

Longer shocks won't change that.

With longer shocks, you would want to then install limit straps to prevent the CV's from over overextending - which will put you right back where you started.

1. I'm not being a dick
2. Its always good to check the first post of a "how-to". It usually contains most of the info.

Adjusting tbars as we speak. 3 turns raised my truck 3/4". I just went another turn, looking for about 1.25" - 1.5" of lift. Anyone ever figure out how many turns to maximum tbar lift? I don't want to do max lift.
