if the t-bar maxed out at 2" i was thinking of a 2" block lift that can be picked up at autozone and o'rallys or would that not be a way to go?

ehhh I dont like that idea. One it is not going to be a good idea to max out your bars to get that 2 inches and its going to ride like shit and I dont like the idea of bigger blocks in the rear. I know most lift kits come with them and they run fine, BUT I dont like that route if there is another way available. SO if I was you, id crank your front like an inch or so, normal that most people do, then put the shackles in the rear thatll give you like 1.5'' and run it like that. It'll be perfect with just a tiny tiny bit of front rake!

Exclamation Re: How To: Adjust Torsion Bars

Don't forget about the shocks guys! I had the shop crank my bars on mine not too long ago and the factory shocks ARE NOT long enough to put more than an inch of lift up front. After a short drive, I drove it back and had them take the front down a bit so I would have some suspension travel.

Wut? That has no relevance to this mod.

If you want to be technical the less the better since you're essentially lifting the weight of your truck, but it's such a tiny difference it wouldn't really be possible to notice the difference.

Like Tom said it doesn't effect it.

If anything you will crank one more due to the lean they have from the factory. That is assuming your mazda is set up like the ranger.

So loosing the bolts will lower the truck right? I want to lower mine because i think they are tightened up, the front end of my truck sits up higher and theres only a one inch lift on the front but 2 in the back? Does that sound like the torsion bars are cranked?
