ball joints are a lot cheaper than a superlift kit.

Just cranked my bars and got 2" of lift and threw my new 32s on but when I took it in to get it aligned the mechanic checked it and said the tires are still in alignment and that I don't need one? is this right I thought cranking the bars would definitely put the tires out of alignment?

if its still within spec youre fine...its always a good idea to have the alignment checked after messing with the suspension

hey so i got some crazy negative camber.. not as much as some ricers i see around /--\
but deffinatly noticable, and wearing my tires away on the insides. so here are my questions, when cranking tbars, would the tires gain negative camber? or positve? i would think positive right? cause the way the arms come up . unless im mising something. but anyways my tbars are maxxed with longer bolts.. im taking it to get an alignment finally after 1 year of running cranked bars, and 2 months of maxxed bars. will i need these camber bolts ive been hearing about?? i just changed my LBJs a couple weeks ago and was hoping that would have fixed the camber issue abit, but no.

let me know guys!

You might want to make sure your hubs aren't worn out $1,000+ bucks to get fixed in the shop or maybe your upper ball joints are worn out...that would be a little bit over $200 in parts to fix on your own (not that hard to do, just check out pooleo's how to) and make sure to get an alignment after doing the upper ball joints.

hubs/ bearings are less than a year old. i have the upper control arms sitting in the garage, but when doing the lowers, i couldent find any play in the upper balljoints.. so i didnt bother changing them

although i should say, the front shocks are maxxed out at static height.. im getting new shocks soonish.. but having them maxxed out means the torsion bars are working against the shocks, holding them wide open and mabie even putting more strain = negative camber?? ill only know when i switch the shocks out i guess, that way i can be sure of the ride hieght i have the trsion bars set at, not over cranked and pushing against the shock which may be throwing my alignment way off. i just read that the reason i have negative camber is because of the uca beig too short compared to LCA when cranking the bars alot. and they cant stretch down far enough to match the Lca angle - thus creating negative camber
