BTW, do we just clean the IAC itself and where it was on the manifold or just the IAC?

Do we clean this as well?

Can I use Seafoam cleaner for the IAC valve?

Used the Seafoam and it left it looking brand new. My truck only has 53,000 kilometers so it looked relatively clean inside the valve. It had a very thin layer of black deposit but I cleaned it out anyways.

So use CRC Throttle Cleaner or MAF Cleaner? Cleaner recommendations seem to be split.

I only read the OP post and picked up the throttle cleaner.

EDIT:
Used the CRC Throttle Body & Intake Cleaner, as recommended by OP. Not sure if this IAC had ever been cleaned before, it had about 1/16" of crud on it - used the whole can and at least 45 q-tips.
