Re: How To: Add aux jack to stock radio
i did until i changed out my radio Worked well as long as you do a good solder job or the wires will break of in the radio and you will spend forever trying to figure out what happened

Re: How To: Add aux jack to stock radio
sounds great bro. I think I may just run a male, so I could plug my phone in, my ipod in, or whatever other device I wanna listen to over stereo.
I like that in my old truck, I could plug my phone in and talk over my stereo using my phones mic and my trucks speakers. * mutters * Stupid hands free law...

Re: How To: Add aux jack to stock radio
Thats why i say female this way you can still hook everything up when you want or you can unhook the aux cord and make your dash look smooth other wise you have a cord sticking out somewhere unless you hide it but heh that's my opinion do whatever works for you man

Re: How To: Add aux jack to stock radio
Being that i no longer need the aux jack sticking in my dash i was thinking of turning it into a headphone jack, this way for my set up i could be listening to my Ipod over the stereo and whoevers in the passenger seat can still listen to the radio of a headset

Re: How To: Add aux jack to stock radio
I tried to do it today but I don't have a R out and L out on my circuit board anywhere... I guess I go the route of aftermarket, I can run my sub that way.
