Default Re: How To: F-250 Horn Install for Single Horned Ranger

hey ray! tanks for the quick reply! but that's not quite the issue i got. i have a single power wire that went to my stock horn, where the horn mount grounded to the frame. I tested the wire, 12v to it. with this new horn, i don't know which contact on the 'horn side' connector is + & -.

----------

on that connector (top left) vvv do you know which side is which?

well shit that makes it hard. I looked up a few threads on the powerstroke forums but it doesn't do any good with out wires colors. You might just have to wing it then, sorry to not be of any help haha

To me the solid would be your positive and the white w/black would be your negative but you could always swap it if it's wrong couldn't you?

I am going to be doing this mod as my 2000 only has a single horn & the wire going to the horn is also a single wire.
