Default Do fuel system cleaners actually work? Testing Gumout "All-in-One"

Hey guys,
We always hear about how people use fuel system cleaners to clean the engine but unless you have a dirty injector with a misfire, who knows if the fuel cleaners actually do anything?!?!

In this video I show before and after using Gumout "All in one" fuel system cleaner which claims after one use, you will see results.

Let me know what you think!

Fuel system cleaners are not going to clean out large amounts of carbon after one tank....you have to use it every 2500-5000 miles.
It's not magical stuff.

I love techRon. Use all kinds of additives and nothing worked, but I noticed a measurable difference when I used techron

As a note, Redline Fuel System Cleaner has the highest concentration of Techron available right now. It's good stuff.

You'll have to pay for it though.

If you read their bottle you would think it is magical stuff. According to them you only need one bottle and then every 3k miles to maintain it. I thought it would do more for the first shot because of this.

When the check engine light came on in my ford focus the code said it was a oxygen sensor needed replaced. On the advice of my Auto Zone guy I put this in the tank and it cleared the codes. This motor had 105k miles on it and I never replaced the sensors. Same issue on my Miata and it cleared it up too.
I recommend you try it.

From my experience, an intake cleaning / throttle body cleaning coupled with fuel injection service can do wonders.

Suck a can of seafoam thru the brake booster vacuum line while the engine is running and watch all that nasty carbon exit the tail pipe. Dump another can in the gas tank.

I have had two vehicles with "check engine" lights due to oxygen sensors and fixed both by pouring a bottle of Lucas in the tank. I use it in all my vehicles now.

Go to YouTube and type in "Chrisfix does seafoam work?" And his video will pop up. He makes some awesome videos. Love seeing new ones. High quality and good information.
