What color would you paint your brakes?
Hey guys,
I made a video on how to paint brakes. For my truck this is more to prevent rust, but for other cars it can be for show. The idea of the video is to show people it is easy to do and give them an idea of what is involved.
Let me know what you think!
Also, what color would you go with? I went with a dark gray (it gets really dark once you heat treat it).

Re: What color would you paint your brakes?
Painting brake calipers will not help with brake dust. Brake dust is coming off the pads.
The only benefit to paint calipers is cosmetic.

Re: What color would you paint your brakes?
well, they wont help with the production of dust, but a smooth coating on the caliper will mean the dust wont stick to the caliper itself.
is paint mine black, keep it simple.

Re: What color would you paint your brakes?
Best of both worlds: paint them the same color as your brake dust. That way, it's not even an issue anymore. ^_^
