How to change Tie Rods - Page 2

i like the zip tie method specifically so's if i wanna take off the boot, then it's no big deal to just cut the old zip tie & reinstall a new ziptie.

Yea, we got the van when I was a kid and I keep fixing the little things to keep it going. This is part of a whole front end replacement I did (shocks, sway bar, lower control arm, bushings, ball joints, and anything else that holds the wheel to the car lol)

Yea, I am getting chit for it on the Vette forum (even tho I explain its just a temp fix if you cant find the part). They are just giving me a hard time lol... It does make it easy and it does the job. I was surprised the new bellows boot kit actually comes with zip ties so.

Lol, like running VIN'S, just gotta be paying attention to detail is all. Go back and listen to the first words in the vid and watch the lower left corner of the screen, all in the first 10 seconds or so.
