How to change Tie Rods
Hey guys,
So here is my latest "How to" automotive video, How to replace inner and outer tie rod ends.
After watching this you should be able to replace the tie rod ends on your car.
Let me know what you think!
If the video was helpful, please "thumbs-up" and/or comment on YouTube (it helps me out). Thanks!

Re: How to change Tie Rods
Very nice explanation, Mike. Gives me confidence to do my own when the time comes.

Very good video Mike. Now I have to check mine to see if they need replacing.

Re: How to change Tie Rods
Thanks guys! I love getting feedback! I just updated the video because it had some things I didnt like in it (I said bolt instead of nut a few times, and I messed up editing at one part).
I do my best to produce a quality product so I just had to fix it (it was bothering me lol)

Yeah, don't sweat it, we understood you perfectly. Very well done!
Funny how at 1:14 you seemed to be pushing your ratchet in the wrong direction, so then you had to get out the breaker bar. Yup, we've all done that, too.

Great Job! Doesn't look as hard as I've always imagined it to be. I'm not really an adjustable wrench type guy though. Didn't quite understand at the end about the zip-tie----you can use a regular hose clamp if it's skinny enough, right?

Haha, exactly... But I cant edit that (maybe I could have put the clip in reverse)... It's tough to get the right shot because you dont realize all the dumb things you do wrong until you have to watch it on film lol...

Yea, that is what I was trying to say. Was it unclear? What particular part was unclear? You can use a hose-clamp, but most are too wide to fit. The boot kit that comes from the parts stores comes with zip-ties so that is why I went that method. I couldnt find another clamp that would fit.

Re: How to change Tie Rods
I watched the video early this morning. Very good job. I understood that you could use a hose clamp instead of a zip tie as long as it's skinny enough.
The whole video was very good, I thought.
