I mostly got it since I wanted the 3.55 Rear instead of the 3.73 or the 4.10. My Ranger is a highway cruiser, I wanted the performance of the 4L while optimizing fuel economy. I love the power the of my 2wd 4L with my manual tranny. I had test drove a Manual 4x4 before buying my truck and mine feels more willing to go then the 4x4. If I recall, I save one second in 0-60 time by not having 4x4 plus like 4-5 MPG
. I just find the truck a little more jittery over bumps then the 4x4, thats the only downfall
