Default Things needed

I was wondering what are the must haves in order to drive in off road conditions. Eithier 2wd or 4x4, From the dunes to the mountains. Anything would help. Thanks

THIS! Especially if you're new to off-roading, a buddy system is your best bet for not walking home. Trust me, been there.

Also, if you're going to be very far from pavement, take whatever you'd need to spend the night. Just in case you have to. (Food, water, blankets).
