CHECK FUEL CAP HELP lol

i know its a little thing but i want my truck to be perfect. any one know why my vehicle wont sense when the fuel cap lid is off and the "CHECK FUEL CAP" light wont come on. and no its not the bulb.

Mine does not do it either. It will eventually throw the EVAP code though, but takes probably 30 miles before it CEL comes on

mine has never come on, but once in awhile it will throw a check engine light if i dont fully tighten it.

Mine comes on everytime its in the "ON" postiton.

I wish I could say the same about my air-bag light/

I would have never known I had a fuel cap light unless I turned the key to just "ON" not actually running though.

That is the only time it comes on

Mine is the same way. But someone stole the stock cap it had once and I replaced it with one that has a lock. Idk if that had anything to do with it but I noticed the cap was gone when I filled up the tank with gas and it was a whole week when I noticed it was gone. The light did not come on at all.
