Default driver door lock

My driver side door lock is hard to unlock what could cause this? It feels like some thing is just jamming it up.. It's a 2001 ext cab

Mine was doing that so I just sprayed WD40 into the hole and it helped a little bit.

Just a small shop by my house, it was an aftermarket kit with lifetime warranty. Got it done for $100. They told me they would charge me $300 for the windows.

I saw how to's on how to do it myself but I didn't want to deal with it haha

I usually do my own work, I just didn't have the time to do it, and I wanted the warranty haha it looks pretty simple to do. But I would definitely go with OEM parts if you have the money.

I just put in aftermarket lock actuators after my OEM's took a poop. I put a compustar alarm and just ran new wire for the locks. Actuators only cost maybe $20 each full price (mine cost me $5 each) and it only took me about an hour to get it all done. It's pretty simple

You just hooked it to the alarm and not the wiring harness for the truck?

So do the door lock actuators drag on the rods that go to the lock cylinder?

Yes...my switches are toast anyway. No point in retaining the factory...plus my gem is going bad.

Besides...the fewer things that can go wrong the better
