Default Ranger Oil Leak

Hello, Last week I got my ranger a new Oil Pressure Switch since my gauge was going crazy and was losing oil, today its the same ordeal, It lost half a quart going 75miles total today highway.

Does anybody have any insight to why this might be happening still?

If it is that bad a leak, Stevie Wonder should be able to find it.

^^^Winna!

I'm not sure what the deal is, is your oil sending unit leaking or is it something else? 75 MPQ, depending on where that oil is landing that could be a fire in the making. BTW, that oil pressure gauge isn't showing nor suggesting oil pressure, rather, it reads midrange when the oil pressure sending unit, the kind that they use for oil lights, an on-off sewithc, sees something like 5psi. Ford was experiencing warranty cost issues because people were bringing in vehicles complaining about low oil pressure when warm and high oil pressure when cold. Easiest way to shut up and to cure stupid people was to punish all buyers uniformly and equally, with "an "idiot gauge" for the oil.
