just another tid-bit...

This will actually be a better way to ACTUALLY diagnose this problem, my way is just to avoid the PITA that getting to that clamp can be. On my truck, most likely yours too, its back inside the frame cross member that the rack is attached to

Re: Popping noise in front end
I'm gonna take one more shot at having a mechanic look at my shit.. I'm tired of the fucking popping and I am not overly knowledgeable about the front end suspension n shit...
Been popping for over a year now and I've "ignored" it long enough (replaced sway bar links last summer, and that didn't do a damn thing, last time i use that shop) ...
Hope it isn't anything that will hurt the wallet too much....

Yeah mine has been popping for about a year also, I just have been too broke until now. I'm only 20 and have been struggling, I just recently had to move back home with the folks

pretty easy... if there is slack around where the shocks mount, then you might have found it!

Not trying to start some petty argument here but, was that comment really necessary? People gotta start somewhere, not everyone has the benefit of being a natural grease monkey.
Sorry, again, don't wanna start anything but that just came off as arrogant.

Absolutely not. You can put yours back if you feel so inclined, but moving on is the only thing I'll be doing.
