93 Ranger Ignition Switch Broken
I was hooking up my trailer and needed to be an inch forward and an inch to the left. I turned the wheels sharply to the right and pulled forward ever so slightly, shut it off and went to check the position(which hadn't changed enough, and went back to do it again. The wheels were still to the far right.
When I went to restart it, the key wouldn't turn, I turned the steering wheel a bit to relieve tension on the ignition switch, but it wasn't doing anything.
The key will turn back(farther than before) but not forward. Any ideas how to deal with this??
What I've read so far all says to replace the ignition the key must be on, and the wheels must be straight.
Thanks for any ideas you might offer
