Restos can be really tough, when i started my 61 scout resto, i had big plans, but there is almost no aftermarket for scouts, so i bit the bullet and sold it.

I agree also if you had a locked rear end traction wouldn't be a issue

HEY I put heated seats in my Ranger! Riding around on a cool evening with the seats on and windows down is a great feeling! And the other night when my engine died and I spent like 4 hrs in the middle of nowhere waiting for a tow truck in freezing weather I was damn glad to have them. Couldn't run the engine to warm up!

That's the only real creature comfort I have besides the stereo and a box of Kit Kats in the center console lol

They're great, but mine were on the pricey side as they were integrated into custom seat covers. I think it was a worthwhile investment tho, and the quality of the product is great

Yep! And it makes 'bare bones' Ranger more "luxurious" and appealing to the female crowd lol
Another reason I love mine is because its a kick in the teeth to my old gf who thought her car was the best and hated my truck. Now my "stupid truck" has heated seats of neither of hers work anymore

I had a 60/40 seat as well, but I did the bucket seat mod and was able to fit the covers on. I believe the site I ordered mine from makes covers for the 60/40 tho..hell I think they even make seat covers for the jump seats lol

If anyone is interested.. http://www.proseatcovers.com

Those are just normal 60/40 seats.
