Unhappy About to Give up

My 2003 B3000 Mazda--(3.0 4X4 Auto 90,000 Miles) is still giving me fits. It has a DEAD miss that acts much like when you turn the key off and back on

It happens anytime the RPM'S reach 33-3400. It "Bucks and Kicks" sooooooooooo bad that you must leave off of the gas for it to recover. If you maintain engine speed below that it is fine.

My elevation goes from 1200 ft to 2600 + in less than 10 miles so you can imagine how tough it is to drive this $#%%%$#

We have replaced all the plugs and wires,Cam sensor ( got a BRAND new one that was BAD) from Ford . The SAD part of this whatever it is the CHECK ENGINE lite does NOT come on--we have even tried the monitor on the vehicle when it was acting up.

The wife drives the truck to and from work and =U know the rest !!

Thanx,

Jim

Yes fuel filter. Or dirty injectors. It sounds fuel line related. My f150 did that

I'm saying fuel line! If it was the coil pack it would ran badly all through the rpm range

Right on! Now we shake hands for a job well done! *sticks out hand*

----------

Hippy I would actually take care of it ASAP! Cause if it's the filter and it's bad for long enough you'll kill the pump and replacing that SUCKS!

nah that only causes hyperflash and burn out

more likely to be the muffler bearing or the piston return spring

Stupid question...have you checked the air filter, air intake, and the snorkel into the fender?
