Default Bent bumper

I have 1999 ford ranger that I bought with the bumper bent. Now that I look closer at the bumper it's the bumper brackets that are bent. I bought a hitch for my truck and can't get it on unless I would bent them back or get new ones. Does anyone know where to get new rear bumper brackets?

ebay has all those little brackets for the front bumper - i've been looking there a lot lately. they would probly have the same for the rear bumper. usually they want like $25 per component...

Okay because I was looking there but they didn't look the same as the ones on my truck.

really? hmm idk. no doubt ebay has some issues with categorizing their parts & accessories section.

another thing you might check is certifit, if you have one local. http://www.certifit.com/locations.aspx

i'm pricing a new bumper & a new hood with them soon as well. hope you find what you want with them.

oh yeah, word on the street is that you should open the box at certifit to verify it's the right part. cause they don't take returns IIRC ...

Mine wouldn't have to be if the hitch still fit haha. Didn't bother me before.
