Default Zip Tie trick...

anyone done the zip tie trick yet? i dont know if this is common knowledge but there is slack in the gas pedal. this prevents the "flapper" in the throttle body from opening all the way. a few zip ties on the cable that runs off the gas pedel (under the dash) will take this slack out. Gains: more responsive, true "wide open throttle" when floored. this is a major free mod for the ranger! i can try and post pics if need be just let me know!!

i did it to my truck, but some trucks just dont need, it.

Check to make sure that it is really not opening all the way before adding zip ties.

The easiest way to tell if you need this done is to take off your intake connector from the throttle body and have someone push the gas pedal to the floor. If your butterfly opens all the way there is no need to add zip ties.
