Default GatorBack or MotorCraft belt?

I have heard a lot have people say how good a Gatorback is and how it was the only way they could get rid of their noisy belt problem but something tells me I should go with the Motorcraft one... I'm on my last nerve with this belt noise and if this doesn't solve the problem then its going to the shop...Any suggestions?

gatorback. the design on it allows it to bend better and easier through the ridged pullies. much quieter!

Go with the gatorback AND replace the belt tensioner. Had the same 'issue' and the tensioner was shot.

Cool sounds good. However, I've been looking around online and I'm seeing different sizes pop up for my Ranger. 88.2 is what is on there now. Amazon says 88.2. Summit says 85.5 OR 85.8. Then I found one on Ebay that says it's for a 4.0 litre with the size being 88.2.

So help me out here, what size is correct for a 3.0 litre with A/C?

Thanks Rangers!

I need to know what size to get too, I have been reading and some owners say they can't get the 88.20 on, and the 88.70 is to big, so which one to try, can't believe they don't make one for our trucks. :/

JP - I posted in your original thread bump here: Gatorback belt not fitting

This is a very old thread & bumping multiple 'Gatorback' threads & asking the same information in each makes things confusing for members

We appreciate your searching & it works good for research - but we prefer you dont ask the same question in multiple old threads.

Thanks!
