Default Fuel filter

Im changing my first fuel filter tomorow. Looks pretty simple. Is their anything special i need to know? Thanks

Pull the fuel pump fuse in the distribution box in the engine and then turn the truck on until it dies out. And let it sit for a few hours or overnight just to be safe. Motorcraft FG1036 are the best for rangers from my experience!

Did my first one on my ranger yesterday. Literally took me 10 minutes. Next time it will be 5 minutes lol. I didnt unplug anything just opened the gas cap to help relieve pressure and sprayed the push button tabs with wd-40 then pulled them off. You will see the colored buttons, they depress on both sides using thumb and index fingers. There is a how to in the engine section of the how too section.

There is a video of a guy changing his in the how to section i mentioned. It took him 31 seconds to remove it and 19 seconds to reinstall it lol
