Fuel filler neck
2001 Ford Ranger XLT 2.5L MT RWD. Single cab. Is this compatible? The $110.79 one.

If I take it to a place, would it probably only be an hour of labor?
Thanks!

Re: Fuel filler neck
top one has a larger vent tube, no ground strap visible, and a different bend in the vent tube. look at the one you've got, measure the size of the vent tube if need be, and see which picture matches yours.

Re: Fuel filler neck
Ha, I feel dumb. What is that? I saw there's two different kinds. This truck is the smaller Ranger.

Re: Fuel filler neck
Ah, I see what you mean. It has no step.

Re: Fuel filler neck
then no, the ground strap is not necessary since the bedsides are metal instead of fiberglass, and grounded to the rest of the truck

Re: Fuel filler neck
Great, thanks for the info. Am I still going to have to look what one it is, or does my smaller Ranger use a standard fuel filler neck (the two links I posted... I haven't crawled under it yet).

Re: Fuel filler neck
Also, do I need to buy any additional parts? Nuts, bolts, clamps, etc?
